Some ripping skating went down at Manning this weekend, with the SBA running their state final there on Saturday. Many people shredded but WA Folklord Josh McMurray came out on top, which wouldn't normally be suprising, but Josh had only just gotten back on board after a good couple of months off due to injury. Peep more info about the comp at http://www.skateboardingaustralia.org.au/Blog/sba-dew-series-2011-wa-results and check out the clip above.
Wa team rider Josh McMurray had a rough end of 2010 with a bunch of injuries that kept him off his board for a little while. Never one to stay down for too long Josh is back at it and killing it again, Ben Dundas sent me this recent shot of him back tailing the vert wall at Maddington as proof.
Josh is one of the newest recruits to Folklore in WA, but his ability to fly around with ease makes it seem like he has spent his whole life on a board. He recently was flown to Sydney to shoot for a major corp's new commercial and managed to shoot this park footage for us in the meantime. He had to ride a blank board for the ad shoot (which explains it in this footage), but keep your eyes peeled for Josh flying about on Folklore wood this summer.
