DANCE TO ROCK

Sebuah project band iseng-iseng antara gw ama Yonel (Rusty), saat gw masih kerja di Rusty sering ngobrol masalah musik Digital...Eh ternyata Yonel jagonya di musik itu. Yonel pernah punya band namanya MICROBOT. Dari situ gw ngomong ama dia gw pengen punya band Metal Digicore, akhirnya Yonel pun setuju dan dari situ Yonel mulai ngebikin sampling musik dan gw ngarang lagu. Seiring berjalannya waktu gw pindah gawe di MACBETH FOOTWEAR, VESTAL WATCHES, OBEY and BAND MERCH gw masih tetep berhubungan ama Yonel. Akhirnya gw jadi 2 (dua) lagu dan Yonel pun udah ada 2 (dua) sampling musiknya. Lagu 1 The End Of Time dan 2 Pelacur. Nah nama bandnya apa ? Yonel nanya ama gw, ini aja DEATH ON THE DANCE FLOOR gw nyeletuk. Gimana...? Yonel bilang jangan dah terlalu panjang namanya, terus kayanya banyak yang mirip-mirip ama nama band yang laen. Oke setelah mikir beberapa minggu akhirnya gw dapet "DANCE TO ROCK (DTR)" dan Yonel pun setuju.
Dan tibalah saatnya kita performance, gw and Aris (Macbeth) datang ke Partynya Rusty di Eikon Club disitu kita ketemu smua orang ada Yonel (Rusty), Tiar (69Slam/I Kill), Galih (Rip Curl), all crew Rusty and dan banyak orang lain yang gw kenal (Anak Clubber) pokoknya rame banget dah. Yonel bilang ama gw besok (30 Nov 08) DTR performance di MAGIC HAPPENS STORE event "DRUM N BASS SMASH DA STREET". What !!! Gokil !!! Selama ini kita punya band tapi belum pernah latihan, dari situ gw ngobrol ama Yonel nyari siapa Vocal/Growler and kapan kita latihan waktunya mepet besok kita udah performance jam 19.00 wita. Akhirnya gw and Yonel setuju narik Galih (Rip Curl) dia dulu Vocalisnya THE LAPINDOZ, kebetulan malam itu Galih hadir di Eikon. Dan Galih pun menerima lamaran kita, diputuskan besok siang sebelum performance latihan di rumahnya Yonel. To Be Continue
